Global Leadership Meeting

Care, Innovation and Performance were the key themes of Austen Maritime Services’ inaugural annual Leadership Meeting held in Singapore.

Leadership from across Austen’s Asian operational hubs met at the group’s headquarters to collaborate, provide updates, and innovate new solutions for clients and operational improvements.

The two-day meeting was underpinned by the three Stena values of Care, Innovation and Performance, with each value providing key discussion areas.

As well as collaboration on operational and corporate matters, there was also opportunity for social interaction allowing for team building amongst the various regional units. 

Christopher Cher, Global Head, who chaired the meeting, said: "The inaugural Leadership Meeting showcased our commitment to Care, Innovation, and Performance.

“Through collaborative discussions and innovative ideas, we fostered a culture of care and achieved outstanding results.

“I’m proud of our team's dedication and look forward to building on this success for Austen Maritime Group.”

Discussed activity related to ‘Care’ included the employee feedback surveys and related action points and the Company’s latest sustainability initiatives and objectives.

A fresh drive for ‘Innovation’ was agreed at the meeting with leaders in the business encouraged to support and nurture employees’ proposals to enhance and improve client services and day to day operations.

Finally, ‘Performance’ reflected a detailed analysis and discussion on Austen’s objectives for the remainder of the year ahead, with a review of the historical performance of the group, the current market outlook and the delivery of various department objectives.
