Human Resources Manager

The incumbent will assist the line manager to integrate Human Resources Management strategies into corporate strategies to deliver organizational value.

The focus of this role will be on the formulation and implementation of policies and strategies to align with business goals and objectives, recruitment, induction and on-boarding, workforce planning and management, training and development, expatriate management, talent development, performance management, compensation and benefits management, and compliance with statutory requirements.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager are not limited to the following:

  1. Implement and maintain HR policies and initiatives and ensure compliance to all statutory or regulatory requirements.
  2. Manage the operations and personnel matters, day-to-day operational HR matters and any ad-hoc subject matters.
  3. Manage the full spectrum for recruitment and selection, onboarding, training and development, performance appraisal, talent management, compensation and benefits, resignations, etc.
  4. Manage and run the Payroll and CPF submission, IR21, year end tax computation to tax authorities and other statutory requirements.
  5. Manage the application, renewal and cancellation of the Work Passes and other related matters.
  6. Analyze training needs in conjunction with department heads, and liaise with training providers to organize internal or external training for employees.
  7. Improve efficiency and productivity of processes and procedures, and to increase the reliance on information technology.
  8. Partner with line managers to execute the employee development, employee engagement and relations, and to improve transparency and accountability.
  9. Manage the yearly negotiation and renewal of the Group Insurance Policies.
  10. Engage in Health Safety Environmental matters and participate in investigation for work related injuries, and to deal with MOM and insurance with regards to work injury related matters.
  11. Versatile and comfortable to deal with personnel of different culture and creating a positive working environment.
  12. Any other duties and responsibilities and projects as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications & Experiences Required

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience in Human Resource field in any industry.
  • Mature and strong personality, problem-solving skill, diligent and firm with high ethical standards.
  • Computer literate particularly in Microsoft Office and HRIS System.
  • Well versed with Singapore manpower regulations and compliance.
